Amado Giménez Joins Ontier as Financial Partner
Ontier has announced the hiring of Amado Giménez Bono from Ramón y Cajal, appointing him as a partner in the Financial department. This move comes as the firm fills the vacancy left by Álvaro Barro, the former head of the department, who recently joined Simmons & Simmons.
Giménez, who previously served as a partner in the Financial and Banking division at Ramón y Cajal Abogados, brings over 20 years of experience advising financial entities including banks and debt and investment funds. His extensive expertise encompasses structured financing, corporate and acquisition finance (LBOs, MBOs), debt refinancing, passive restructuring, and debt trading, both domestically and internationally, participating in significant transactions within the market.
Furthermore, Giménez has a wealth of experience in coordinating and executing public-private partnership projects under project finance schemes in the energy and infrastructure sectors.
Recognized as a leading specialist in transactional financial law by major international legal directories and fellow professionals in business law firms and corporate legal departments, Giménez also holds advisory roles and serves as secretary of various boards of directors in multiple companies within his professional practice.
