Allianz promotes head of L&C to deputy director

Spanish insurance company Allianz Seguros has named Gisela Subirà new deputy director general for HR, Legal & Compliance

Allianz Seguros has made several organizational changes in its Board of Management, which will be effective as September 1.

As part of these changes, Gisela Subirà (pictured), until now head of Legal & Compliance, has been appointed deputy director general for Human Resources, Legal & Compliance, replacing Francisco García Vegas, who has been promoted to director general.

Gisela Subirà has a degree in Law and a Master´s degree in Insurance and Financial Entities Management from the Universidad de Barcelona. She also holds a Master´s degree in New Information and Communication Technology Law from the Universidad Ramon Llull. She joined Allianz in 2008. In 2012 she was appointed head of Legal & Compliance, a position she has held together with the coordination of Legal & Compliance for the Iberolatam region, until she has been appointed deputy director general for Human Resources, Legal & Compliance, and member of the Board of Management of Allianz Seguros.
