Allen & Overy recruit M&A partner from Cuatrecasas
Allen & Overy has hired M&A partner Fernando Torrente from Cuatrecasas Gonçalves Pereira.
Torrente’s areas of expertise also include capital markets, energy, private equity, and technology, media and telecommunications (TMT).
He has advised on more than 40 initial public offerings (IPOs) including the privatisations of Iberia and Aldeasa.
Antonio Vázquez-Guillén, co-managing partner of the firm, said incorporating a partner with Torrente’s “prestige and experience” would significantly strengthen its position in the Spanish market.
