Alicia Muñoz named VP of Club Excelencia en Gestión

Alicia Muñoz Lombardía has joined the Club Excelencia en Gestión as vice president of its executive committee, the organization’s highest executive body. Currently deputy secretary of the board of Santander España and head of the legal department for commercial banking, governance and regulation, she brings experience in areas such as corporate governance, sustainability, and organizational transformation.

The Club Excelencia en Gestión is a multisector, non-profit association that connects professionals to generate and share knowledge on excellent, innovative and sustainable management. It supports organizations in transforming their management to improve performance and recognizes their achievements. Founded in Spain in 1991, the Club is made up of over 230 member organizations.

About Alicia Muñoz Lombardía

A legal and business professional with more than 30 years of experience, Alicia has spent her entire career at Grupo Santander, holding various senior positions in the general secretariat and compliance areas. She currently also serves as chair of Santander Seguros y Reaseguros, board member of Canal de Isabel II, and trustee of the Aranzadi-La Ley Foundation.

She combines her professional activity with a role as a speaker, lecturer and contributor to specialized publications. She has been recognized with the InspiraLaw award from Iberian Lawyer.
