Alcampo with Grupo DIA on the acquisition of 235 supermarkets, the advisors
Cuatrecasas has advised Alcampo on its agreement with the Grupo DIA to acquire 235 supermarkets and a logistics platform located in Villanubla (Valladolid). The total portfolio covers a retail area of approximately 180,000 square metres.
The transfer of this portfolio will start as soon as the suspensive conditions attached to the transaction are fulfilled and the operation is expected to be completed by mid-2023.
By this deal, Alcampo takes another step forward in its multi-format growth in Spain, as the location of the acquired shops will complement Alcampo’s network of own and franchised shops and will provide greater coverage of customers’ needs.
