Albert Mestres confirmed as new partner at Toda & Nel-lo

Albert Mestres has been appointed partner at Toda & Nel-lo. The lawyer has been promoted to partner in the tax law department, one of the strategic areas of the firm and one that has experienced the greatest growth in recent years.

The new partner of Toda & Nel-lo, who until his appointment worked as counsel, will continue to be in charge of the international tax and operations practice, his area of specialisation, leading a team that has also been strengthened.

Albert Mestres brings to his new position twenty years of experience in advising clients on tax matters with an international component. Before joining this project in 2016, he worked in the tax departments of Cuatrecasas (Barcelona office) and Clifford Chance (Barcelona and Madrid offices).

He specialises in providing tax advice on the international mobility of both companies and individuals, as well as in tax planning for executive remuneration in multinationals and start-ups or scale-ups. He also has extensive experience in transactional taxation, having advised on numerous business investment and divestment operations in Spain, as well as on financial restructuring and real estate investments.
