Alantra closes €155m continuation fund financing for Health in Code deal

Alantra Partners has announced the closing of the financing of a new continuation vehicle, Alantra Private Equity Continuation Fund, through which it will transfer its investment in Health in Code SL, a Spain-based provider of genetic diagnostic services. As part of the transaction, Mérieux Equity Partners SAS is acquiring a 20% stake in Health in Code, with the deal reported to be valued at around €155m.

The legal team involved in the operation included Roberto Pomares (partner, corporate), Isabel Rodríguez (partner, funds), María de Orueta (partner, funds), Gonzalo Fernández (counsel), Sara Fernández (counsel), Enrique Torné (senior associate), Elena Torrecillas (associate) and Lucas Sánchez (associate).
