Aguirre Newman instructs Garrigues on €67m Savills deal

Garrigues advised Spanish real estate consultancy Aguirre Newman on its acquisition by UK-based Savills.

The deal was valued at €67 million, according to Mergermarket. The fee will be paid in intallments over a five-year period.

Aguirre Newman‘s 2016 turnover was €69 million.

Founded in 1988 in Madrid, Aguirre has 400 staff and offices in Madrid, Barcelona, Málaga, and two offices in Portugal.

Savills already had offices in Barcelona and Madrid – with 70 members of staff – prior to the acquisition.
