AGM Abogados advises on the €68m sale of 50% of Platos Tradicionales to Torrent Fimer
AGM Abogados has been part of the legal team that has advised Fleury Michon, a prominent leader in the French food sector, in the sale of 50% of the shares of Platos Tradicionales, to Torrent Fimer, a company belonging to the well-known Martínez family group.
In early June, Fleury Michon announced the start of exclusive negotiations with Familia Martinez, its strategic partner in Spain, for the sale of shares in Platos Tradicionales, which produces ready meals for Mercadona and employs more than 700 people. On June 26, the agreement was made official, with a total value of 68 million euros.
This transaction represents a significant step forward in Familia Martínez’s development strategy, while Fleury Michon focuses on strengthening its core business.
The AGM team has been integrated by Francisco Lacasa, Julio Menchaca, partners of the Transactions, Mergers and Acquisitions department, and Jérémie Dazza, lawyer of the firm’s French Desk, and has worked together with Pascal Lemaitre, lawyer of the Parisian firm Intuitu Avocats.
