Administrativando Abogados hires Jorge Ortiz Ramírez

Administrativando Abogados continues its growth by adding Jorge Ortiz Ramírez to its team, reinforcing its recently opened Canary Islands office, led by Agustín D. Acosta Hernández and Javier Navarro Betancor. This brings the firm’s total staff to over 20 professionals.

With over 20 years of experience in Administrative Law and Urban Planning, Ortiz is known for his expertise in areas such as forced expropriation, public contracts, and sector regulations, particularly in public transport, coastal management, water resources, and the real estate tax sector. His career includes senior roles at firms like Ceca Magán Abogados and Andersen Tax & Legal, and advisory positions at organizations such as Solvia and TINSA.

Ortiz has been recognized with prestigious awards, including the Urban Planning and Administrative Law prizes from the Madrid Bar Association.

Benítez Ostos, Managing Partner, highlighted that the firm has seen significant growth this year, doubling its team and increasing revenue by 49% and profits by 74% compared to the previous year. He expressed excitement about Ortiz’s extensive experience and academic background.

Acosta and Navarro added that Ortiz brings “rigor and excellence,” which will be key in supporting the firm’s rapid growth, particularly in the Canary Islands.

This hire follows other recent additions to the firm, including Daniela Pitters, José Luis Fuertes Suárez, Marcos Peña Molina, Blanca Sánchez Martínez, and David Muñoz Zapata. The firm is also planning further international expansion, which will be announced soon.
