AdCE promotes three lawyers

Antas da Cunha Ecija has announced the promotion of three of its lawyers: Jane Kirkby, Carolina Meireles and Ana Catarina Silva.

Jane Kirkby, who is now a member of the board of directors, works in the areas of Public Law, Administrative Law, Administrative Litigation, Public Procurement, Health Law and Life Sciences. Graduated in Law from the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon, she has a postgraduate degree in Health Law from the Faculty of Law of the Catholic University of Lisbon. In 2007, she completed a Master in Medical Law and Ethics from King’s College London, with a thesis on “Clinical Trials in the Mentally Ill”. She attended several trainings in public procurement and data protection.

Carolina Meireles, promoted to of counsel, is mainly dedicated to providing legal advice in the areas of Commercial and Corporate Law. She has over a decade and a half of experience in mergers and acquisitions, private equity, corporate reorganizations, joint ventures and commercial contracts. She has a degree in Law and a postgraduate degree in Corporate Law from the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon.

Ana Catarina Silva, promoted to of counsel, focuses her practice in the area of TMT – Technology, Media and Telecommunications, with Privacy and Personal Data Protection, Electronic Commerce, Cybersecurity, Information Technologies and o Cloud Computing. She has a degree in Law and a Masters in Law and Information Technology from the Law School of the University of Minho, with a thesis on “Legal Analysis of the Management of Sensitive Information in Cloud Services”. She is ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Implementer Certified.
