Adarve and Madrid University Launch Civil Justice Observatory

The Civil Justice Observatory, part of the R&D project PID2021-122647NB-I00 focused on justice efficiency and access during austerity, has concluded its first edition with notable success. The initiative, in collaboration with Adarve Abogados, featured dynamic seminars led by five procedural law professors, three lecturers, and several Adarve lawyers.

Juan José García, Managing Partner at the law firm, highlighted the project’s goal of improving civil justice processes and access to rights. The Observatory, operating as a forum, facilitated discussions on current civil justice issues, merging academic and professional perspectives.

Throughout the 2023-2024 academic year, the Observatory involved students from the Complutense University of Madrid, enhancing their legal training. Key topics covered included judicial auction issues, digitalization in the justice system, and pre-insolvency evidence.

The collaboration between Adarve and the university has produced significant works, such as the book Theory and Practice of Civil Enforcement Processes. The Observatory has provided a platform for critical reflection and debate, enriching participants’ understanding and practice of civil law.
