Across Legal hires Carles Ros
Across Legal, the M&A, Venture Capital, Digital Law and Tax Law firm specializing in emerging companies and led by Ignacio Lacasa, has recruited Carles Ros, who becomes a partner of the firm. The firm, which has grown by 50% in the last fiscal year, reaffirms its commitment to consolidating its core business: complex corporate transactions and cross-border deals.
Ros, a Law graduate from Pompeu Fabra University, holds a master’s degree in International Law from the Institute for Higher Studies in Law and Economics (ISDE). With over 20 years of experience as a lawyer, he began his professional career in an American firm, focusing his practice at the intersection of law and innovation, specializing in Commercial Law, Technology, Media, and Telecommunications (TMT), private equity, and Intellectual and Industrial Property (IP). He has extensive experience advising major investors, emerging companies, technology-based service companies, industrial firms, and public entities (universities, public research centers, and hospitals), as well as in corporate investments and divestments (especially M&A and/or international transactions). Additionally, he possesses profound knowledge in intellectual property matters, data protection, as well as in managing, exploiting, and transferring technology. Throughout his professional career, he has structured and advised collaborative R&D projects at both local and international levels.
Thus, the new partner at Across Legal has contributed to over 145 advised transactions recorded in Transactional Track Record (TTR) totaling an aggregate value exceeding 400 million euros. His outstanding performance has been acknowledged by the most prestigious international directories, achieving a Band 1 ranking in ‘Private Equity: Venture Capital’ in the British directory Chambers and Partners.
