Deloitte Legal and Across Legal advise on the entry of Grupo Catalan Occidente in the capital of Cuideo
Deloitte Legal and Across Legal have advised on the entry of the Catalan insurance company Grupo Catalan Occidente in the shareholding of Cuideo, the firm dedicated to the care of the elderly at home.
The investment was made through the group’s corporate venture capital vehicle, GCO Ventures. María Jose Álvarez, CEO of the corporate vehicle, will represent the subsidiary on Cuideo’s board, a position previously held by Atresmedia. The Spanish media group remains a shareholder of the company and remains an observer.
The rest of the corporate governance positions correspond to the Botet family office, former owners of Caprabo, the funds Inderhabs Investments and Mundi Ventures, and the three founders of the elderly services company, Adrià Buzón, Guillermo Molina and Roberto Valdés.
Deloitte Legal has advised Grupo Catalan Occidente with a team formed by Guillermo Donadeu (Principal Associate) and Román Cantín (Associate).
The Across Legal team was formed by Ivan Moll (partner), Marc Pereta (senior associate) and Borja Vallejo (senior associate).
