Abreu strengthens criminal law practice with new partner
Abreu Advogados announces the appointment of Ana de Brito Camacho as a new partner in its criminal law, sanctions, and compliance practice. She transits from Sérvulo & Associados. With over 20 years of litigation experience, her work has focused primarily on compliance, criminal litigation, and economic crime.
Ana de Brito Camacho holds a law degree from the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon and a postgraduate degree in Consumer Law from the same institution. She has worked on a number ofcomplex criminal cases, representing both corporate and individual clients. She has also been active in the field of sanctions compliance, advising leading corporate clients in sectors such as retail distribution, broadcasting, information technology, pharmaceuticals, and banking. In this context, in addition to designing and implementing compliance programmes, she has delivered training to corporate clients on corruption and money laundering prevention, as well as on whistleblower protection.
