Abreu enhances cross-border presence with TerraLex
Abreu Advogados is expanding its international network by joining the legal network TerraLex, further strengthening the firm’s support for cross-border clients. With offices in Lisbon, Porto, and Funchal, Abreu brings to TerraLex five additional jurisdictions: Angola, Cape Verde, Guinea-Bissau, Mozambique, and Timor-Leste.
“The integration of Abreu Advogados into the TerraLex network is an important step in our commitment to providing high-quality, seamless cross-border legal support. Abreu shares with TerraLex the core value of collaboration, making it an ideal fit for our global network”, said Terri Pepper, CEO of TerraLex.
According to Abreu, Portugal’s strategic location and business-friendly environment make it an attractive destination for international investment. The country’s legal system, rooted in civil law traditions, provides a stable framework for business operations, and recent reforms have further streamlined regulatory processes.
“International collaboration is part of our DNA. Joining TerraLex aligns with our vision of providing clients with top-tier legal services that transcend borders. We are proud to work alongside globally respected firms and to contribute to the network’s mission of fostering innovation and excellence in the legal profession,” said Inês Sequeira Mendes (pictured), managing partner at Abreu Advogados.
