Abreu brings in Marta Boura as of counsel

Abreu Advogados has integrated Marta Boura as of counsel, whose practice focuses on digital law and financial regulation. With experience advising national and international companies, the lawyer has been involved in projects related to technology, fintech, digital markets and regulatory frameworks, supporting the definition of legal strategies for the implementation of technological solutions, data protection, regulatory compliance and the structuring of innovative financial operations. Her work also covers digital transformation initiatives and systems integration in highly regulated environments.

Before joining Abreu, Marta Boura was advisor to the Secretary of State for Justice at the XXIV Government of Portugal. She is a visiting assistant lecturer at the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon and a researcher at the Centre for Private Law Research, with several publications in the fields of civil, financial and digital law.

In parallel, Marta Boura has been active in project finance and energy matters, taking part in financing transactions and the structuring of investments with an impact on strategic sectors such as infrastructure and energy. Her practice includes the negotiation and drafting of contracts, risk analysis and regulatory advice on high-value transactions.
