Abreu Advogados advised JLL on the sale in Portugal of its property management unit to the Dutch group MVGM
The transaction was carried out by a multidisciplinary team of Abreu Advogados, led by partner Manuel Santos Vítor (pictured), specialized in Corporate and M&A, in which João Amaral Cabral, associate in the same area of Corporate and M&A, Madalena Caldeira, partner in the area of Labour Law, and Joana Maldonado Reis, principal lawyer in the area of Tax Law, also participated. The Abreu Advogados team worked in conjunction with Carla Bodião, in-house counsel at JLL in Portugal.
The representation of the JLL Group in this operation covered several European jurisdictions besides Portugal, and was led from Germany by Watson, Farley & Williams.
