ABG IP Expands Footprint with New Office in Valencia
ABG IP, a leading intellectual property protection firm led by Juan Arias, is pleased to announce the opening of its new office in Valencia. This marks the fourth location for the firm across Spain, following Madrid (2003), Barcelona (2007), and Bilbao (2015).
The decision to establish a presence in Valencia is rooted in the region’s significant contributions to innovation. As the fourth autonomous community in European patent applications and surpassing the national average in the European Commission’s innovation index, Valencia’s commitment to transforming its productive model through creativity and ingenuity aligns with ABG IP’s mission.
The Valencia office aims to bring ABG IP closer to its clients while tapping into the potential of a thriving region that has embraced innovation to enhance its competitiveness. ABG IP believes that managing and protecting intangible assets is crucial for fostering progress, and the firm is committed to supporting organizations in this task.
Jorge Ibor Millán (pictured), an experienced technical advisor in the Biotecnología & Ciencias de la Vida department, has been selected to lead the Valencia office. With a background that includes working at the European Patent Office, Ibor’s ties to the region, entrepreneurial spirit, and talent make him a fitting choice for this role.
ABG IP adopts a service-oriented structure rather than being territorially organized. This allows the firm to provide comprehensive and highly specialized advice on the protection of R&D through patents, trademarks, and other modalities, as well as the defense of these intangible assets.
