Abertis instructs Cuatrecasas on A4 Holding deal
Abertis instructed Cuatrecasas Gonçalves Pereira on the purchase of a 51.4 per cent stake in the Italian industrial group A4 Holding, whose main assets are Italy’s A4 Brescia-Padova and A31 toll roads.
The deal was worth €1.2 billion, according to Mergermarket.
A4 Holding currently manages 235 kilometres of toll roads in the Veneto region of Italy.
The agreement is pending Italian government approval of the A31 extension, called the Northern Connection Project.
Abertis was also advised by Italian law firm BonelliErede on the deal. A4 Holding was advised by Studio Legale Lombardi Molinari Segni.
