Abdón Pedrajas Littler has led the negotiation and signing of the II Equality Plan of the International Book Club with the trade unions Unión General de Trabajadores (UGT) and Comisiones Obreras (CCOO).
This second Equality Plan is a significant milestone for the International Book Club, as the negotiation has enabled the establishment of specific commitments in terms of equal treatment, reconciliation of work and family life, internal promotion and prevention of harassment and gender-based harassment, among other key aspects.
The negotiation process has been led by Teresa Trigueros Ramos, senior associate at Abdón Pedrajas Littler, together with Javier Thibault (consultant), and lawyers Noemí Lucio Sancho and Nerea Navarro Montero. The International Book Club was joined by Mario Borregon, director of the legal department, and Alberto Andrés Pacheco, Rosa Vicente and David Martín, from the company’s Human Resources area.
Finally, María José Díaz Jorge and María Antonia Araque Alonso were the representatives of UGT and CCOO, respectively.
