Montero Aramburu with Acesur on Deoleo acquisition

Montero Aramburu & Gómez-Villares Atencia has advised Spanish olive oil group Acesur on its agreement with Dcoop for the joint acquisition of Deoleo Holding, a company linked to several internationally known olive oil brands.

Under the agreement, Acesur and Dcoop will jointly acquire Deoleo Holding. The aim is to open a new stage of growth and international expansion by combining the industrial, commercial and distribution capabilities of both groups with the positioning of the Deoleo brands in global markets.

The transaction brings together two groups closely tied to the olive oil sector around a long-term business project for the Spanish agri-food industry. The project seeks to increase worldwide olive oil consumption and strengthen the value chain. It also aims to create new opportunities for producers, employees and consumers.
