Addleshaw Goddard posts 17% rise to £644M in revenue

Addleshaw Goddard (AG) has reported record results for the 2025/26 financial year, ended 30 April 2026, marking its ninth consecutive year of growth in both revenue and profits. Over the period, the international law firm increased revenue by 17% to £644 million, up from £551 million in the previous year. Distributable profits also rose by 17%, reaching £262 million.

The strong financial performance was accompanied by continued expansion of the firm’s global platform. Partner numbers grew by 8% to 479, while total headcount increased by 9% to 3,216 professionals. The publication of the results coincides with the official opening of AG’s Amsterdam office, the 22nd in its international network, following the integration of Florent, a leading Dutch corporate law firm bringing 17 partners and more than 60 lawyers.

According to Andrew Johnston, managing partner of Addleshaw Goddard, the year confirmed the firm’s consistent growth trajectory. “We have delivered very strong results by deepening relationships with existing clients, increasing market share and winning new mandates across both established and emerging markets. All our practice areas performed well, with particularly strong results across sectors and geographies. We are also especially pleased with the progress of our offices outside the UK, as our European and Middle East platforms continue to mature. The launches in Warsaw and Abu Dhabi have exceeded our initial expectations.”

Roberto Pomares, managing partner of Addleshaw Goddard in Spain, added that the results reflect “the success of a strategy focused on sustainable growth, client service excellence and a clear international ambition”. He noted that the Spanish practice continues to play an active role in that trajectory, supporting clients on their most significant transactions and projects. “The opening in Amsterdam is another step in building an increasingly strong and interconnected European network, enabling us to deliver top-tier cross-border advice wherever our clients operate.”
