Ramón y Cajal adds M&A partner Juan José Mallo
Ramón y Cajal Abogados has appointed Juan José Mallo as a partner in its corporate and M&A practice group, reinforcing one of the firm’s core areas. He joins from Martínez-Echevarría, where he was a partner.
Mallo brings more than twenty years of experience in corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructurings, commercial contracting, and corporate governance. Throughout his career, he has advised companies, investment funds, and business groups on share and asset purchase transactions, joint ventures, corporate reorganisation processes, and other complex transactions.
Infrastructure focus and academic ties
His background is particularly notable in the infrastructure sector, where he has been involved in investment and divestment transactions, as well as in the design and execution of corporate structures for large-scale projects. Alongside his professional practice, Mallo maintains academic ties through his collaboration with institutions including ISDE, IE Business School, and the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid.
