EY Abogados advises Jessica Bataille on Jávea deal
EY Abogados has advised Jessica Bataille Group on the acquisition of the property housing the Club de Campo in the El Tosalet urbanisation of Jávea, Alicante. The 32,000 m² asset, formerly known as Club Social “El Tosalet,” served for decades as the social hub of one of the area’s most established luxury residential developments.
The EY Abogados team provided advice spanning financing, legal due diligence, and the purchase of the property, as well as the fiscal structuring of the transaction. The acquired space is set to be rehabilitated under a project led by interior designer Jessica Bataille, with the aim of restoring its role as a community gathering point.
The team
The mandate was led on the legal side by partners Nacho Sevilla and Francisco Soler, both partners in the Corporate M&A practice. The tax structuring was handled by Miguel Guillem, partner, and Jorge Pérez, Senior Manager, both from the International Tax and Transactions practice. Miguel Borrás, Senior in the Corporate M&A team, also participated in the transaction.
