BDO Abogados adopts Legora AI platform
BDO Abogados has completed the implementation of Legora, a legal AI platform designed to reduce time spent on repetitive tasks and allow lawyers to focus on strategic advisory work. The project, which began in October 2025, was coordinated by the firm’s legal operations department.
The decision to adopt the technology followed an internal analysis in which the firm identified its specific operational needs, evaluated available market options, and conducted a cost-benefit study. The rollout was structured in phases, with tailored training sessions delivered to each department to facilitate integration of the tool.
Since deployment, the platform has achieved an adoption rate of over 90% among professionals, with all users indicating they would miss the tool if it were removed. Legora is applied to tasks including document review, legal research, and drafting — processes that are now completed in less time, freeing lawyers to dedicate more attention to complex, client-facing matters.
