Clifford Chance advises Mapfre on €500M notes issuance
Clifford Chance has advised Mapfre on a liability management exercise over Tier 2 notes and on a concurrent new issuance of Tier 2 subordinated notes with a nominal value of €500 million. The transaction was executed through Mapfre’s recently established EMTN Programme, which provided the structural flexibility required for the deal’s execution.
The operation enables Mapfre to manage its solvency base more efficiently while optimising its debt profile and overall liquidity position.
