Linklaters promotes Inês Pisco and Carmina Campos to counsel in Lisbon

Linklaters has appointed Inês Pisco Bento and Carmina Campos Pina as counsel in Lisbon, effective 1 May 2026. The promotions form part of the firm’s global election process announced by Aedamar Cominskey, senior partner and chairman of Linklaters.

Marcos Sousa Monteiro, national managing partner of Linklaters in Portugal, said the appointments recognize two professional careers marked by excellence, technical specialization, and an ability to make a difference in client matters.

Tax expertise

Inês Pisco Bento is a tax lawyer in Lisbon who focuses on tax litigation. She has extensive experience in administrative, judicial, and arbitral tax disputes, handling a wide range of fiscal matters. She regularly advises domestic and international clients on national and cross-border tax issues in sectors including banking, energy, and private equity.

She has also pursued an academic career, having taught as an assistant at the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon and participated in research groups on tax law matters. In 2019, she completed a secondment at Linklaters’ Brussels office in the tax group, focusing on state aid litigation. She is a regular speaker at national conferences on tax topics.

Litigation and arbitration

Carmina Campos Pina is a member of the litigation, arbitration and investigations team with over a decade of experience. Her practice focuses primarily on disputes in the banking, financial services, and investment funds sectors. She has represented domestic and international clients in complex proceedings before both judicial courts and international arbitral tribunals.

Campos Pina also has solid experience in regulatory matters, including advising and representing clients in investigations conducted by regulators, disciplinary proceedings, and supervisory authority interventions at national and international level. She is a member of Linklaters’ ESG Group and actively participates in innovation and legal technology initiatives, including the firm’s European Innovation Forum.

Following these appointments, Linklaters’ Lisbon office will have 11 partners and 5 counsel in a team of 52 lawyers. The firm operates 30 offices across 20 countries globally.
