Proença de Carvalho advises Portugal Ventures on Fever exit
Proença de Carvalho has advised Portugal Ventures (Portuguese Development Bank Group) on its exit from the share capital of Fever, a transaction that enabled the venture capital firm to achieve an average return of around 15 times its initial investment made in 2016.
Founded in 2014, Fever is a ticketing platform for cultural events operating in more than 40 countries. Portugal Ventures currently has 148 companies in its portfolio and €288 million under management.
The deal was led by partner André Matias de Almeida, with the involvement of lawyers Manuel Bruschy Martins, Bruno Matias and Madalena Batalha Reis. The tax aspects were led by partner Bárbara Schürmann.
