Bird & Bird re-elects Bartsch as CEO

Bird & Bird has re-elected Christian Bartsch as global CEO of the firm for a further four-year term. He has held the role since April 2022

Bartsch will continue in the position following the decision of the firm’s partnership. His new term extends his responsibility for the firm’s global operations.

Strategy and global operations

During his tenure, the firm launched a five-year global strategy in May 2024.

Over the past three years, Bird & Bird has recorded revenue growth of 28%, with an average annual growth rate of 9%.

The firm has also expanded its international presence with the opening of offices in Tokyo in 2024, and in Riyadh and Lisbon in 2025.
