Iberian Lawyer Class Action takes place today in Madrid

The Iberian Lawyer Class Action event takes place today in Madrid, bringing together legal professionals to discuss the evolution and key challenges of collective actions in Spain. The event is held at the Madrid Bar Association (ICAM) and gathers in-house counsel, legal experts and industry representatives to analyse the growing relevance of class actions within the current legal landscape.

The session opens with welcome remarks from Anna Palazzo, group conference manager of Iberian Lawyer, and José Ramón Couso Pascual, deputy member of the governing board at ICAM and president of its banking law section.

The programme continues with a roundtable discussion focused on the practical implications of collective actions for companies and legal departments.

The panel features Jaime López de Villarreal, global head of legal at Loewe; Carlos Menor Gómez, legal director and compliance officer at Groupe Renault España; Teresa Mínguez Díaz, general counsel and compliance and integrity officer at Porsche Ibérica and board member at ICAM; and Javier Ramírez, vice president and associate general counsel for global litigation (excluding the US) at HP, as well as advocacy lead at ACC Europe.

The discussion is moderated by Magalí Bujía Sica, journalist at Iberian Lawyer.

The event concludes with a networking session, providing attendees with the opportunity to exchange views on the future of class actions and their impact on the legal and business environment.
