Ejaso hires Ignacio Blanco Pérez as corporate partner in energy

Ejaso has hired Ignacio Blanco Pérez as corporate partner in its Madrid office. He joins from Andersen, where he served as director in the corporate practice, advising on transactions in the energy sector.

The appointment strengthens the firm’s corporate practice in energy, a sector undergoing investment activity and regulatory changes. Ignacio Blanco Pérez has extensive experience advising on M&A and private equity transactions involving renewable energy assets, including wind, solar photovoltaic, hydrogen and energy storage projects.

He has participated in cross-border transactions across multiple jurisdictions, including Spain, Colombia, Greece, Costa Rica, Italy, Mexico, Brazil, Panama, the United Kingdom and the United States. His practice also covers the negotiation of EPC and O&M contracts, as well as the structuring, financing and refinancing of renewable energy projects under project finance schemes.

Throughout his career, he has advised sponsors, financial institutions, investment funds and institutional investors on energy transactions, covering the full value chain from development to operation.

The hire strengthens EJASO’s corporate practice in energy-related transactions, including M&A, structured finance and project development in the renewables sector.
