Jesús Giner joins Ius+Aequitas Trial Lawyer as partner
The jurist Jesús Giner has joined Ius+Aequitas Trial Lawyer as partner in the commercial litigation and arbitration practices. Transiting from Broseta, where he served as partner, Giner is a specialist in private patrimonial law with 27 years of experience in complex litigation and arbitration. He has a solid track record in managing high-complexity business conflicts, both in court and arbitration proceedings.
Giner’s practice focuses on corporate conflicts and disputes arising from M&A transactions, financial and distribution contracts, joint ventures, construction and infrastructure projects, and energy sector contracts, with particular expertise in matters with an international component, including coordination of multi-jurisdictional litigation.
In academia, he holds a law degree from ICADE, where he received both the Extraordinary Prize and the National Prize, and a degree as Corporate Legal Advisor from the same institution. He completed a doctorate in civil law and has taught civil law at the University of Alcalá. Currently, he teaches private law and arbitration at the Legal Practice School of Complutense University of Madrid and at the Autonomous University of Madrid.
Giner is also a permanent arbitrator at the Civil and Commercial Arbitration Court (CIMA) and has acted as arbitrator in several other arbitration institutions, including the Spanish Court of Arbitration, the European Arbitration Association, and the Arbitration Court of the Barcelona Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Navigation. He is a regular speaker at professional forums and author of numerous specialized articles and book chapters.
