Bip Law and Tax with Polygon in Cedyt acquisition
Bip Law and Tax, together with Native Strategy (BIP Group), has assisted Polygon (Medisolve), a company controlled by the private equity fund H.I.G. Capital, in the acquisition of the Spanish company Cedyt, specialised in diagnostic imaging services.
The acquisition of Cedyt represents a further step in Medisolve’s growth strategy in the diagnostic imaging sector and strengthens the group’s presence in the Spanish market, in line with the development plan promoted by H.I.G. Capital.
The team
The transaction was handled by Ilaria Stassano, head of the firm’s Spanish Desk and member of the international development team led by John Shehata. The Spanish Desk advised on the tax and employment aspects of the transaction, coordinating the work of Carlo Maria Andò and Matteo Tamborini and working closely with the local partners involved in the deal.
