Spear Legal hires Maria Francisca Quaresma

Spear Legal has recruited associate lawyer Maria Francisca Quaresma, who joins the legal boutique in the areas of tax law and tax litigation. Throughout her professional career, Maria Francisca Quaresma has mainly practised in the field of tax litigation. She transits from Garrigues.

She holds a law degree from the Faculty of Law of the University of Coimbra and also a master’s degree in tax law from the Portuguese Catholic University. According to António Gaspar Schwalbach, managing partner of Spear Legal, “Francisca’s arrival strengthens our response capacity in one of our core practice areas. She is a lawyer with a solid background in tax law and significant experience in tax litigation, fully aligned with the culture of technical rigour and professional excellence we have sought to establish since Spear Legal was founded.”

Spear Legal was founded by António Gaspar Schwalbach at the end of 2025.
