Carlos Lora and Álvaro Martí join Iter Law

Iter Law has hired Carlos Lora and Álvaro Martí Martín (both pictured) as partner in charge of public and regulatory law and head of transport and mobility, respectively.

Carlos Lora, who joins from Uría Menéndez, specialises in administrative, regulatory and European Union law. He advises financial institutions in inspection and sanctioning proceedings conducted by Spanish and European supervisory authorities; infrastructure and services companies on their contracts and relationships with public administrations; large residential property owners and real estate sector entities on public intervention measures in the housing market; transport sector companies on regulatory matters; and technology companies on entering the Spanish market and accessing European funds.

Álvaro Martí Martín joins from Grupo Ruiz, where he served as legal counsel. He specialises in the transport and infrastructure sectors, with particular focus on contentious-administrative litigation. He has advised national and international passenger transport, railway and airport companies on public and commercial procurement, sector compliance and litigation. He has also advised public administrations on public procurement and the drafting of general regulations.
