“Thanks to our clients’ trust, the effort of our team, and the consolidation of our strategy, we have managed to increase revenues even more than in previous years. But our goal is not growth for growth’s sake, but to ensure that growth is solid and profitable, so that we can continue offering the best possible service, attract the best professionals, and invest in everything we consider strategic, such as our digital transformation. We are confident in maintaining this trajectory throughout 2026”, states Fernando Vives, CEO of Garrigues.
The main practice areas
The main practice areas increased their revenues during the year. Corporate and M&A accounted for the largest share of business (32.59%), followed by Tax (29.31%), Dispute Resolution: Litigation and Arbitration (12.60%), Labor (12.16%) and Administrative and Constitutional Law (7.78%).
According to Garrigues, over the last five years, investment in technology and digitalisation has reached €75 million. This investment is “driven by a threefold objective: to provide clients with personalised digital environments to improve traditional services and offer new services; to incorporate an artificial intelligence strategy as a competitive advantage; and to enhance operational efficiency through process automation and digitalisation”, states the law firm.
Key milestones in 2025 include highlights such as the integration of the Mexican firm Sánchez Devanny, the relocation of the corporate headquarters to the Torres de Colón in Madrid (pictured), and the completion of the 2023-25 Sustainability Plan. In addition, in 2025, g-digital, Garrigues’ digital business division, consolidated with a catalogue of solutions that aim at covering the full cycle of “digital trust”, the necessary digital infrastructure for legal certainty. g-digital is a key element in diversifying the firm’s activities through the development of products and services designed jointly by technologists and the firm’s lawyers.
Meanwhile, G-advisory, Garrigues’ consultancy subsidiary specialised in energy and sustainability, celebrated its 25th anniversary. Over this period, it has developed projects in more than 40 countries across 5 continents for private clients, public administrations, sector associations, and multilateral organisations, among many others, celebrates the law firm.
