Proença de Carvalho advises Indie Campers on UK platforms acquisition

Proença de Carvalho advised Indie Campers, a Portuguese company specialising in motorhome rentals and road-trip platforms, on the acquisition of Just Go and Bunk Campers, brands in the United Kingdom and Ireland, from the New Zealand group Tourism Holdings Limited (THL).

This strategic transaction allows Indie Campers to significantly strengthen its presence in the United Kingdom and Ireland, by integrating the operations and infrastructure of both brands into its global business model, while keeping the acquired brands as distinct offerings within the group. A large fleet of vehicles was also acquired, making this one of the largest transactions carried out to date in this sector, states the law firm.

The Proença de Carvalho team involved in the transaction was led by partner André Matias de Almeida (pictured) and coordinated by senior associate Manuel Bruschy Martins, with the participation of associates Bruno Matias and Gonçalo Poejo Grilo.
