Afianza Legal integrates ARS Privilegium to boost IP practice

Afianza Legal, Afianza’s legal division, has created a new Industrial and Intellectual Property (IP) practice following the acquisition of ARS Privilegium, a Spanish firm specialised in this field, headquartered in Madrid with offices in Mallorca, Burgos, Seville and Galicia.

Founded in 2009 by Luis Ibaceta and Eva Ropero Termis, ARS Privilegium has been integrated into Afianza Legal together with a team of more than 20 specialised professionals, including lawyers, engineers and experts in the management of industrial and intellectual property, capable of providing services both nationally and internationally. Eva Ropero Termis and Silvia Álvarez Ramos join the firm as managing partners.

This integration enables Afianza Legal to add specialised services in the registration and protection of patents, trademarks, industrial designs, appellations of origin, copyright, and legal support in litigation related to these areas, states Afianza.
