Pinsent Masons advises Cerealis on Cerealto pasta business acquisition
Pinsent Masons has advised Cerealis Produtos Alimentares, a century-old agri-food group specialising in products derived from cereal processing and with a strong international presence, on the acquisition of the business line dedicated to the manufacture and distribution of pasta from the Cerealto Foods group.
The transaction has been structured through the acquisition of all the shares in the Cerealto Foods group subsidiary that owns the relevant business line. The transaction is subject to obtaining the necessary clearance from the competition authorities in Spain (Comisión Nacional de los Mercados y la Competencia) and Portugal (Autoridade da Concorrência).
