TKL: Jorge Masía, new litigation partner

TKL – Think Legal has incorporated Jorge Masía, formerly of Pérez – Llorca, as a new partner in the Litigation department, strengthening its capabilities in complex litigation, competition and high-value business disputes.

With more than fifteen years of experience advising national and international companies, Masía joins TKL – Think Legal after a distinguished career at leading firms. The new partner comes from Pérez – Llorca, where he was a partner in the litigation and competition practice. He has also worked at firms such as EY and DLA Piper. His practice focuses on disputes with a strong regulatory or competition dimension, including conflicts arising from restrictive practices, abuse of dominant position and claims for damages, as well as complex commercial and corporate disputes.

His appointment is in line with the firm’s strategy of strengthening those areas with the greatest ‘direct impact on its clients’ business, especially in contexts of growing conflict, regulatory pressure and the judicialisation of business relations’, the firm explained in a statement.

In addition to his professional activity, Jorge Masía is heavily involved in academic work as a lecturer at leading institutions such as Carlos III University and IE University, which reinforces his analytical approach and his ability to tackle litigation from a strategic and multidisciplinary perspective.
