Ashurst guides Castellana in €108M shopping centre acquisition
Ashurst has advised Castellana Properties on the €108 million acquisition of the company owning the Berceo shopping centre in Logroño. Pérez-Llorca acted as legal advisor to the seller.
The acquired centre serves a catchment area of 365,000 inhabitants and is the only major retail offer within a 100-kilometre radius, attracting visitors from Logroño and surrounding provinces. It is located in an area with above-average per capita income, low unemployment, and a strong industrial presence. Castellana Properties highlights that the transaction—advised by Variant Real Estate and Cushman & Wakefield—covers a total of 34,416 square metres of SBA out of a total 49,416 square metres.
