Ejaso has integrated Iureko Abogados y Economistas, a Seville-based firm specialising in corporate, insolvency and banking law. The transaction involves the appointment of Cecilia Franco Romero and José María Ortega Segura as new partners of Ejaso in its Seville office, which is led by Javier Romero Macías.
Cecilia Franco, an expert in corporate, insolvency/restructuring, banking and procedural law, as well as a civil and commercial mediator, and José María Ortega, a specialist in corporate, insolvency/restructuring and finance, bring to the firm a long-standing professional track record and proven experience in managing highly complex matters, states Ejaso.
In addition, the integration of Iureko includes the appointment of Abelardo Bracho Arcos, former managing partner of PwC Andalusia in Seville, as of counsel. He has experience in corporate, insolvency and restructuring matters.
Tax advisors
The integration also brings to Ejaso a team of accounting experts and tax advisers, aiming to strengthen the firm’s capabilities in accounting, tax and financial advisory services. “With this move, Ejaso consolidates its growth strategy in Andalusia and reinforces its commitment to delivering a multidisciplinary and highly specialised service to companies, investment funds and individuals, at a time when business restructuring and preventive advice have become key to the viability of many businesses”, states the law firm.
According to Javier Romero Macías, managing partner of Ejaso’s Seville office, this integration “represents a decisive step in consolidating Ejaso as one of the benchmark firms in the Andalusian market. With the addition of professionals of the calibre of Cecilia Franco, José María Ortega and Abelardo Bracho, we significantly strengthen our capabilities in corporate, insolvency and restructuring, areas in which demand for specialised advice is growing exponentially.”
