Dentons advises FIEE on investment in Naturmet
Dentons has advised FIEE SGR, the Italian private equity firm specialising in energy transition, on its acquisition of a majority stake in Naturmet, a Spanish company specialised in the development and operation of biomethane production plants. The deal, carried out through FIEE’s Energy Transition Fund III, involved a €30 million capital increase, with an additional €10 million earmarked for future growth.
The investment will support Naturmet’s pipeline of renewable gas projects across Spain, including operational assets in Soria, construction-stage plants in Navarra and Extremadura, and further developments planned for 2026 and beyond. ABE Capital remains in the company as a minority shareholder. The transaction marks FIEE’s second investment in the Spanish market and aligns with its strategy to support the energy transition through renewable gas infrastructure.
