CMS advises NMDC on 51% stake acquisition in Lantania Aguas
CMS has advised NMDC Group, an Abu Dhabi-based company specialised in energy and maritime services with a presence in the Middle East, North Africa and South Asia, on the acquisition of 51% of Lantania Aguas, a company focused on water and energy infrastructure with operations across all phases of the water cycle.
The transaction aims to creates an international benchmark in the water sector, with desalination, treatment and water purification projects, and allows NMDC Group to enter the European market, states CMS. The completion of the transaction is subject to obtaining the relevant regulatory approvals.
The deal was led by corporate/M&A partner Ignacio Zarzalejos, together with associate Ana Vázquez (both pictured).
