DLA Piper hires magistrate Bárbara Córdoba for Litigation and Regulatory

DLA Piper, a firm led by Jesús Zapata, has announced the addition of Bárbara Córdoba, a magistrate specialising in commercial law with more than 20 years of experience in the judiciary, as a new counsel in the Litigation and Regulatory area.

Córdoba has developed a distinguished career in commercial, corporate, financial, intellectual and industrial property litigation, unfair competition and, in particular, restructuring, insolvency and corporate governance. She has presided over commercial courts in Madrid and Barcelona, with a confirmation rate of over 90%.

In addition, she has participated in pioneering projects for the modernisation of the Spanish justice system, coordinating the approval of judicial protocols and best practice guidelines that have placed Spain at the forefront of legal certainty and efficiency in complex situations.
