Melo Alves hires four new lawyers

Melo Alves has hired four new lawyers: Joana Costa Oliveira, Inês Azevedo Camilo, Rita Reigadas and Filipa Fonseca Santos.

Transiting from Coelho Ribeiro & Associados, Joana Costa Oliveira joins as an associate in the areas of criminal and administrative litigation, compliance and internal investigations, while also contributing to the Banking and Finance area.

Inês Azevedo Camilo, previously with Caiado Guerreiro, also joins as an associate in the dispute resolution area.

With experience in the financial sector, Filipa Fonseca Santos comes from Miranda & Associados, joining Melo Alves as of counsel, taking responsibility for the development and leadership of the banking & finance practice area in Portugal and Angola. With nearly 30 years of experience, she has worked in law firms with a strong presence in Lusophone Africa, including Angola, Mozambique, and Cape Verde.

Rita Reigadas comes from Andersen as a trainee lawyer the Asian Desk.
