Andersen advises BNZ on a contract to sell 100GWh of clean energy per year
Andersen advises BNZ, a Nuveen portfolio company, on the signing of a power purchase agreement (PPA) committing it to sell 100 GWh/year of clean energy to a third party over the next 10 years.
The agreement is in line with BNZ’s strategic objective of achieving more than 2 GW of clean energy capacity in solar, wind and battery storage solutions over the coming years. In addition, this transaction strengthens BNZ’s position in the Spanish energy sector and provides a solid financial basis for its growth.
The advisory services were led by Federico Belausteguigoitia, partner in the Energy area of Andersen’s Commercial / M&A department, together with Constanza López de Oña, senior associate, and Maria Racionero, lawyer, both from the same department.
