TKL advises Onza Entertainment on its sale to Culture Cap7
The law firm TKL Abogados has advised Onza Entertainment, a leading independent production and distribution company in the Spanish audiovisual sector, on its sale to the private equity fund Culture Cap7 Fund I. Onza is responsible for some of the most renowned titles in the national audiovisual industry, such as the series El Ministerio del Tiempo and Parot, among others.
The transaction includes a capital increase aimed at boosting the future growth of Onza, which will become the platform that will bring together other potential production companies that are acquired in the future, with the aim of creating a large audiovisual hub in Spain.
The team at TKL Abogados, the firm that has been advising Onza for more than ten years, was made up of partner Almudena Ponce de León, senior lawyer Marta Ocaña, and junior lawyer Itxaso Urresola.
