Deloitte advises Avícola Tratante group on its integration into Hevo
Deloitte advises the Avícola Tratante group on the agreement for its integration into the Hevo Group, owned by the international operator Global Eggs.
This operation represents a significant milestone in the expansion of the Hevo Group in the domestic market. It marks the third acquisition made this year by the Hevo Group (Granja Legaria, El Granjero and Avícola Tratante), with the aim of expanding its business and production facilities.
With these additions, the group strengthens its presence throughout the country with centres in Guadalajara, Cuenca, Tarragona, Navarra, Bizkaia and Pontevedra.
The acquisition of Avícola Tratante, a Galician company founded in 1969 in Sixto (Dozón, Pontevedra) is a strategic step in the group’s expansion and culminates a year marked by profound internal transformation. In addition, with more than five decades of experience, the Galicia Calidade seal of quality and a firm commitment to the rural environment, Avícola Tratante has established itself as a key player in the poultry sector in Galicia.
The Deloitte Legal team on this transaction was composed of Carlos Reverter Rodríguez-Marqués (director), Alberto Castilla de la Calle (associate) and Carmen Cavada Moreno (junior). Tax advice throughout all phases of the transaction was provided by Diana Soto Lopez (partner) and Jorge Rodríguez Creo (director). Deloitte Transactions also provided advice on corporate finance, due diligence and financial advice in the SPA.
